It is located on the west bank of the Nile River, about 60 kilometers south of Luxor. The temple was built during the Ptolemaic period (332-30 BC) and is dedicated to the god Horus.
When you are on board lunch will be served while proceeding sailing to Luxor, and once Luxor is reached our Egyptologist guide will pick you up for an exciting excursion to Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple, both located on the East Bank of the Nile. Karnak Temple is an awe-inspiring complex of ancient Egyptian temples, chapels, and other structures. Marvel at the elaborate architecture and beautifully preserved hieroglyphics as you explore the grounds.
Luxor Temple, another remarkable archaeological site, is dedicated to the ancient Egyptian gods Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Admire the grand avenue of sphinx statues and the intricately carved reliefs that tell fascinating stories from Egyptian mythology.
