Your day will begin with a pick-up from your hotel in Luxor. Our representative will take you across the Nile River to the West Bank, where you will begin your exploration of the Valley of the Kings. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the tombs of many of Egypt’s pharaohs, including Tutankhamun. You will visit three tombs, excluding the Tomb of King Tutankhamun, and learn about the history and significance of these ancient burial places.
Lunch will be served in high quality local restaurant.
After your visit to the Valley of the Kings, you will continue to the Temple of Hatshepsut. This stunning temple was built by Queen Hatshepsut, the only female pharaoh of ancient Egypt. The temple is carved into the cliffs of the West Bank and is decorated with elaborate reliefs and hieroglyphs. You will have the opportunity to explore the temple at your own pace and learn about the fascinating story of Queen Hatshepsut.
