Our Egyptologist guide will pick you up heading to El Minya, this charming city, located about 4 hours south of Cairo, is home to a number of fascinating ancient sites, including the ruins of Tell El Amarna, the capital of Akhenaton.
In the morning, you will be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle from Cairo to Al Minya. From there, you will take a motorboat to Tell El Amarna, which was founded by Akhenaten, the 18th Dynasty pharaoh who is known for his religious reforms.
