Upon arrival time at Cairo airport
Our representative will be waiting for you upon arrival at Cairo Airport. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your chosen hotel to relax the rest of the day. And before our representative says “goodbye” will give you a quick brief about your journey’s itinerary and approving the pickup times.
After a satisfying breakfast, our Egyptologist guide will accompany you as your incredible journey begins. Your first stop will be the largest and most enigmatic Egyptian pyramid, where you will explore the tomb of the Fourth Dynasty pharaoh Khufu. As you marvel at this architectural marvel, don’t forget to greet the Sphinx, who diligently guards this remarkable piece of history. Built around 2500 BC for the pharaoh Khafre, this place holds untold stories and mysteries.
As you take in the breathtaking views of the Pyramids, you will be treated to a delectable lunch at a highly recommended local restaurant. Savor the flavors of authentic Egyptian cuisine amidst the awe-inspiring surroundings.
Next, prepare to be astounded as we venture to the renowned Egyptian Museum. Here, you will witness over 250,000 ancient artifacts and artworks that paint a vivid picture of the ancient world. The highlight of your visit will undoubtedly be the mesmerizing Tutankhamen section, where you will lay your eyes upon his precious treasures, sealed away for centuries.
Finally, immerse yourself in the old-world charm of Khan-El Khalili. As you step into the bustling heart of this bazaar, you will be transported back in time to the captivating Mamluk era. Feel the vibrant energy of this historical period as you stroll through its narrow alleys, interacting with local vendors and experiencing the spirit of ancient Egypt.
Back to your hotel and overnight.
After breakfast at your hotel in Cairo, check out and transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor, and then your Egyptologist guide will take you directly to visit the Eastern Bank of Luxor where you will have the opportunity to visit Karnak temple which considered the biggest and widest complex over the world.
And then you will head to the second visit to Luxor temple which is dedicated to the god Amun-Ra.
Now, you will enjoy your lunch at one of the most trusted local restaurants before you board a motor-boat to cross over the Nile River.
It’s time to visit the precious Western Bank, where you will be amazed by seeing and knowing about the Valley of the Kings which is the burial ground for most of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom (1550-1070 BC). The tombs are carved into the cliffs of the Theban Necropolis, and many of them are decorated with elaborate paintings and hieroglyphs.
And then you will visit the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, one of the most impressive temples in Egypt. It was built by Hatshepsut, the female pharaoh of the New Kingdom, and it is dedicated to the gods Amun-Ra and Hathor.
And finally you will stop to take photos in front of Colossi of Memnon with an exciting brief from the Egyptologist guide.
Finally you will be transferred in a private A/C vehicle to Esna to embark the Nile Dahabiya, while dinner will be served on board.
After breakfast is served on board you will be picked up to visit Esna temple, a beautiful temple dedicated to the god Khnum. After visiting the temple, you will take a short walk through the local markets.
Back to the Nile Dahabiya while lunch will be served on board, and then you will sail to El Kab, the ancient town of Nekheb. In El Kab, you will visit the remains of its temples and some of the tombs cut into the cliffs. In the evening, the dahabiya will moor on a small island where you will enjoy dinner on board or on the tranquil banks of the Nile.
When back to the Nile Dahabiya dinner will be served on board and overnight.
The sail to Edfu is a stunning journey that takes you from the golden sand of the desert to the lush and green forests of date palms. The scenery is unchanged for centuries, and it is a truly magical experience to see it all unfold before your eyes.
In Edfu, you will visit the Temple of Horus, which is dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus. The temple is in a state of excellent preservation, and it is clear that it once hosted huge ceremonies with live falcons in honor of Horus.
After visiting the temple, you will have the opportunity to explore small villages and the desert. You may also choose to set sail for a small island where the boat will moor for the night. Dinner will be served on board the dahabiya or on the tranquil banks of the Nile.
This is a truly unforgettable experience that will allow you to see some of the most beautiful scenery in Egypt. It is a great way to learn about the ancient Egyptian culture and history, and it is a truly magical experience that you will never forget.
On the third day of your Dahabiya cruise, you will relax in a deck chair and watch the riverside pass by while the crew sails to Gebel El Silsila. You will then explore the rock-cut chapels of Seti I, Ramesses II, Merenptah, and Horemheb, as well as remnants of the monuments in the old sandstone quarries. During lunch on the sun deck, the Dahabiya will sail towards Kom Ombo, where you will go ashore to see the double temple of Sobek and Haroeris. In the afternoon, you will set sail for the island of Maniha, where the Dahabiya will moor for the night. This island is one of the many lovely spots for a refreshing dip in the Nile. The waters are relatively shallow and the scenery is fantastic, it is also very peaceful and quiet. Dinner will be served on a beautiful spot on the banks of the Nile, under a twinkling night sky.
This itinerary offers a variety of activities and experiences, from exploring ancient temples to relaxing on a secluded island. It is a great way to see some of the most popular and lesser-known sights of Egypt, all while enjoying the comfort and luxury of a Dahabiya cruise.
On the fourth day of your Nile cruise, you will sail to Daraw, a small village that was once the last stop on the famous 40-day desert road between Sudan and Egypt. In the morning, you will take a walking tour of the village and visit the markets, where you can haggle for souvenirs and local handicrafts. In the afternoon, you will continue sailing to the Nubian village of El Koubania, near Aswan. You will spend your fourth and last night on board your cruise ship.
The Dahabiya journey comes to an end in Aswan after breakfast on board the check-out will be done smoothly.
And then your Egyptologist guide will pick you up to visit the most amazing highlights of Aswan. The High Dam which is the largest dam in Africa and the sixth-largest in the world. The dam was built between 1960 and 1970 and was designed to control flooding, generate hydroelectric power, and provide irrigation water for agriculture.
And then the Egyptologist guide will take you to Philae temple which is decorated with reliefs depicting scenes from the lives of Isis and Osiris, as well as scenes from Egyptian mythology. The temple also houses a number of obelisks, statues, and other artifacts.
At the end of that day you will be transferred to Aswan airport to catch a domestic flight to Cairo, where our representative will be met to transfer you to your hotel to relax and overnight.
On your last day in Egypt, you will enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. As you eat, you will reflect on the many amazing experiences you have had during your trip. You will have visited some of the most iconic and important sites in Egypt, learned about its rich history and culture, and experienced the hospitality of its people.
